Ever watch a fashion show and see all these skinny people in ugly clothes that cost way too much money? Have you nothiced that a skinny girl can go buy a thong or g-string and it costs them lots, but to buy panties that cover the entire butt costs less for a skinny girl, then why is it that bigger people have to spend so much more on their clothes. Do you not think it is time that bigger people can buy stylish clothes for a lot less.

The bigger a person is the more fabric it take to make the clothes so naturally it is going to cost more. It would be nice to find something that looks nice for both large and small women. I'm older so I don't want to wear the kind of clothes that the teens and young adults wears.

then why is it the less material you buy for your panties the more you pay?

Maybe because the small is more difficult to sew?

Ghostly007's "They should pay for that" bothers me a bit.. I work retail and I am a plus size woman when I order items I am charged for that extra fabric.. usually not much like a dollar or two. and thats what I use for my price point. The plus size shirts only run about a dollar or so more. Say for instance Fashion Bug. their prices are usually well comparable between the regular sizes and plus sizes.. only like a dollar or two difference. I do not agree on overcharging for something out of our control. But then I dont mind paying extra for something thats gonna make me look and feel gorgeous.

I think that the price difference between smaller and larger sizes is ridiculous. They are just trying to make money off the people who where larger sizes. It is very difficult to find cute, trendy clothing in larger sizes and when you do it costs you a lot more money. It may take an extra couple of inches of fabric to make the bigger sizes, but sometimes the larger sizes end up being triple what the smaller sizes are. It's not fair!

i think this fashion shows... they need skinny people to save them on materials. har har har. i dont think that we large people can have that kind of opportunity because or clothes needs a bigger size of materials. i am happy now atleast there are stylish clothes for us big people.
