Its pretty hot here these days and I find that inspite of drinking water before I go to sleep I always wake up thirsty and need to drink water! The dry heat is definitely to blame. Do you feel the same way?

Keeping your mouth open dehydrates you a little more. If you also have noisy breathing when sleeping you may need to see an ENT doctor!

yes, i bring a big bottle of water in our room so i wont have to go down stairs to get water if i wake up thirsty. it is so hot here too and the heat really dehydrates us. sometimes i bring frozen bottled water to our room so it is still cold when i wake up in the middle of the night

Yes there are times that I when i wake up I feel really thirsty. There are times that I was awaken because I feel thirsty in the middle of the night. I think its because here in my country now, it is really hot because of summer. Even my kids, esp my three year old daughter, would wake up in the middle of the night and cry and when I ask her why, she would say that she is very thirsty. She wont stop until I gave her water to drink. My problem here in my house, there is a ghost in here... We believe so. I am so afraid of ghosts. And most of the time, I forget to bring water in the room. I have to stay awake and wait until the sun shine to be able to drink water. But when my daughter is the one thirsty, I cannot make her wait long until the sun shine... So I have to run all the way to get water with my eyes close go back into the room. But now I have learned my lesson, i bring water in the room. Not only that, I also bring food here in the room so just in case...

I've rarely done this. I'm a pretty deep sleeper.
