Do u have a pen friend?

HI friends. Everyone of us must have had a pen friend atleast once in our lives. I had two pen friends when i was in school. One was from italy and another one was from spain. We used to exchange letters very frequently, but somehow we lost touch with each other. Did u ever had a pen friend in your life? Do u still write to him/her? Any interestings things to share about your pen friends?

I did have a pen pal, but unfortunatly he was not one that lasted. He was a great guy but he was also in jail, he was a cousin of a friend of mine and she said he needed a friend to write to, so she told him about me. After a few weeks he wrote me and he was really nice, but after my mother found out I had stopped writing him. She was afraid he would hurt me, but he was not a killer he was more of a thief. He did his time. I still wonder what would have happend if we had kept in touch.
