I was born and raised in Utah, and now that I live in Colorado I get asked the same 2 questions over and over again! 1- Are you Mormon? 2- Are you a polygamist? Has this happened to anyone else that has left there? BTW, Yes I am and No I am not! But I do have a friend who is! (3 wives and 11 children!)

What people need to realize is that mainstream Mormons are not polygamists, it's the FUNDAMENTAL church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS) church that believes in that. Mainstream Mormons abolished polygamy over 100 years ago!!! I married a Mormon. I'm still Presbyterian and plan to stay that way, and he's going to keep his religion. We attend both churches together.

Well my answer is, I am not to both of these questions In my opinion, polygamy is not a healthy system. It creates more conflicts and confusion. But only wealthy men able to do that. I have problem to feed even 1 wife.
