sometimes, i see topics that i'm interested in but would ignore it coz there are already too many responses. i feel like my own response would be lost among the bunch and that the user would just ignore it or would not be able to read it at all. it's such a waste of effort and time. anyway, this is just a theory of mine. i haven't really proved it yet coz i haven't tried responding to discussions like the one i mentioned. i'd rather respond to discussions i'm mildly interested in and has a lot of rooms for responses. i'm sure my response will be well regarded and read.

Yes if i find the topic interesting then i would definately go ahead and comment. I dont mind if the person doesn't reply back because a person cannot reply to all the comments. ~pinks~

It depends on the topic and how much i am interested it. even if there is no response to my post, it just makes me happy to respond to subject I am interested in. yeah you right sometimes nobody read it but at least it gives me some satisfaction. good point you made there.

I would rather search for similar topics such as those, which has only a few responses since I also like to exchange individual views and opinions about the subject together with other members who would want to share their comment on what I've said. And if ever there is nothing I can find, I might as well create one but with a different approach on the subject. At least to make it look more original and I could safely claim it as my OWN, that's how I would look at it..

that is what it's here for. to share each other's views. the way i see it, it's better to create your own discussion so you could direct it the way you want it to go.

my point is it's such a drag if your response is ignored. it'd nicer if at least it's given a little notice. never mind if i don't get a reply back.

I prefer to get into a discussion early, if I can. I do read through all the responses in some of the bigger discussions, even if I don't add my own response to it. I do sometimes feel my response may get lost among so many and I think a response will be read more if it appears on the first page of a discussion. I will still write a response when I feel I have something to add, regardless of how many responses there already are, but I also do as you do and look for small but interesting discussions rather than join in some of the top ones.

you can certainly do that if you have all the time in the world to spend online. but me, i just spend a limited time here. it's more fun if you see some reaction to you response no matter how small.

If the topic is really interesting, I don't find any reason why I should not respond even though there are already over a hundred replies in there. All of us have different opinions and I think even if we have the same answer, the manner of how we see or explain the topic is different. I will still want to add my views on it hoping that others might find something good in it.

as i've said it's just a theory. if my discussion gets a hundred response i'd still take the time to read all of them. so it doesn't hurt to add whatever you can.

I really dont look at the number of responces that a post gets to see if I am going to respons. I look to see if the subject interests me or not. You might have a different viw than anyone else has so I would post no matter how many posts there are.

Yes i always responsd to a discussion that i like. I don't care how many responses it already has. I post response even if some discussion don't have any response or some discussions have more then 50 responses. I always try to post my best answer in that discussion. If you will give a best answer then people will read it. Even there are thousand responses already. Thanks

Good point arshad. I still also response if I find the discussion interesting. Beside you might be a part of a record with the most response discussion.
