I preferred german when i was in the same situation. As i a m a biotechnologist i think learning german gives me a lot more opportunities. while i did not have spanish as an option but i sure had french. I preferred german over french. May be one day i amy even go on to learn french but for now german is my foreign language. Try to make a decision based on ur surroundings, ur profession etc. Hope u make the correct decision. all the best.

Hello Sweety. I like to learn foreign languages too. I travel a lot to countries in different parts of the world. It certainly is very helpful if one can speak the language of the country. I speak a little bit of German. Now I want to learn Japanese. You can pick the language which would be most helpful in your career too.

I think the answer should come from your own objective in the future. If you will do business, will you do business mostly with Europeans or Asians? If Europeans, you can learn French, Spanish or German. They don't differ too much. Once you master French, you can learn Spanish, Portuguese and Italian easily. I can group these languages together. German is sort of like English. You should not have much difficulties learning it. If you're more to Asia, you can start with the most difficult first: Chinese or Korean or Japanese. Korean and Japanese are similar in grammar, but not in writing. They do have some sort of resemblance to Chinese. And yes, Vietnamese have some similarity to Chinese too, except they use common alphabets just like us. I think those are the important languages among each group. Hope this helps.
