Characterization, the development of characters is often difficult... I know that I need to improve in this area so I will participate in this exercise too.
Greta stared at Tony intently. Was there something wrong with his hair? Did he have something on his face, he wondered. He wanted to ask her what she found so fascinating about him. He was surprised when she said, "Do you have a brother named Henry?"
His face turned bright white. He said, "Henry, no, no,
I don't have a brother named Henry!" She questioned him,"Are you sure?" His mind drifted back to when he had first begun his deception. It was so many years ago when he began pretending to be Henry. He saw her eyes stare at him even more closely. It was clear that she knew or suspected even though he had attached a moustache to his face and had grown a goatee. He said softly, "Henry is my cousin" and watched her lips turn upwards into a soft smile as she finally had an explanation that made sense for his uncanny likeness to the rotter who dumped her.
Now it is your turn:
Have fun...
Come up with two characters... They could be people you know(change their names please) or people you make up. Describe them so that we know them.
And then make them talk to each other so that we know more about them.

Bandit was an aging cat of 14 years of age. One good days, he could still bounce off the walls and chase his toy mouose around the house. Cooper a young kitty who seemed to need ten minutes naps to sustain 12 hours of constant torument.
Bandit awoke suddenly as Cooper pounced on his head. "Come on. Get up", Cooper purred. "The sun is out and there are birds sitting on trees just outside of our window." Bandit was preferring the birds flying in his dreams. Graceful and smooth. "Oh kid. Now you need to stop stepping on my whiskers and ears. Once you reach my age they don't grow back so fast." Bandit growled.
