I normally listen to the local radio music station. I feel good while driving I listen to the music. Sometime I even shake to the tune of the music or song especially my favorite songs. Besides by listening to the music while driving, it make me alert and also less tense. What about you?

Hi Blueangel. You don't need to turn down the volumn of your radio while talking to your boys, keep it up and enjoy the music.

Yes i normally do listen to songs while driving. This surely helps in keeping off stress and concentrating on driving but if i have a person along with whom i need to discuss business matters then i dont switch on the radio. Normally its the radio which runs but sometimes when i am going to religious places i would listen to devotional songs.

I always listen to the radio whilst I'm driving. It makes me feel happy and relaxed before a stressful day at the office! The DJs on the radio station I listen to are very funny - it's a boy-girl team and they're always teasing and making fun of each other. It's almost like listening to an episode of friends! The selection of music is old and new so it's a nice variation, although I am getting sick and tired of listening to Leona Lewis and her bleeding heart!!

Yes, it's of the wonderful things to have when traveling or you're even just roaming around downtown. It could give you enerygy and see things around as part of the wonderful stuff in this world. Sometimes I feel like that, appreciate things boosted by music. I'm sometimes motivated by the rhythym of music and appreciate other things.

I am a new driver so I still get tense/nervous on the road that is why I listen to the radio while driving, it diverts my concentration from being nervous to being more relaxed while singing along to the songs playing on the radio. It is also effective to keep you awake when you listen to the radio commentaries whereas there are dj's talking about a relative topic, hearing people talking about something interesting would definitely keep you awake.

Listening to music really calm my nerves. It drives out my worries and woes from work and other things. It also clears our mind and thoughts; thus, giving us the comfort that we always love. So, listening to music while driving is something great.

I listen to the radio when I am driving I have a few favorite stations that I listen to. I have seen people drive with headphones on listening to music before and I dont think that is safe how do they heard things around them like other cars and emergency vehicles.

Hello luvstochat. Well, most of us do listen to the radio while driving. About putting on earphone, I don't really see the rational behind it and in fact I do agree to your point that it is unsafe to drive with earphone. Thanks for your comment.

Sometimes. When I'm out in the middle of nowhere, I might. If I'm on a busy interstate or in the city, I'll be a little more agitated and busy complaining about others' driving habits. _

I have always listened to music while driving. I agree music is a stress reliever. I listen several different ways. Mostly I listen to music on the radio, there are several different radio stations in our area with different generes so I can jump around and find the tune I feel like listening to or singing along with. I occasionally play CD's or cassette tapes. Lately I have been listening alot to my iPod. I have this converter that looks like a cassette tape and it plays your iPod through the car speakers. I am really enjoying that right now. I will also listen to talk radio if it is a longer drive home.

Hi ryzach. I guess to most people music is a stress reliever. Me too, I do jump around from to station to another station. At time I will put on my CD too. When I enter into the car without it is like something is missing somewhere. Thanks for your response.

I normally bring a CD into the car when going for a drive. Stuff like Incubus, Deftones, Modest Mouse, and others. In the car I have satellite radio (Sirius) so I get a good variety of stations whenever I wanna listen to that .. And Howard Stern as well haha :) Yeah I really cant stand driving in silence it sucks!

I always have cds in my car that I would play when I don't feel like listening to the radio. Whenever we are in a mall, or in a restaurant or at home watching tv and a song from my cd is being played, my five-year-old daughter would shout "hey Ma, that is your song".
