Have you ever had a pet who died?

Yes, a few. And it hurts each time. Some hurt more than others. I lost fish, a canary, dogs, and cats.

YA.. I have cat.. she gave birth to 3 kitties.. all die 1 by on.. dont know why.. :(

I got a dog for my 15th birthday presant from my mom. I loved him, he was my favorite thing to talk to, and we spent all of our time together mostly cause I was always grounded. Two weeks after my 17th birthday he ran across the street chaising 2 big dogs, and got hit by a car. I ran into the middle of the street and picked him up and he was crying so horribly I wanted to die, my mom came running out and we tried to call the vet, they couldnt do anything it to late and was so horrible! I remember being depressed for awhile, my mom got 2 other dogs, never as a replacement just to help us get over it!

Yes. I had an orange tiger striped cat. He was only 5 months but we had to put him down. He had kidney liver and blatter failure.

We have had 2 pets die...a black fluffy female kitty names Abigail and her son a blue eyed tiger stripe greyish cat. Both were with us even before we had children and they were great with the kids...the Abigail would meow to me as if to tell me when my daughter as a baby would cry...so I would go to tend to her. The son we named Tony used to play fetch..for a cat that is not so common. He was great too...we still miss them and talk about them to this day.

My dog Daisy when I was 12. I came home on a Friday and already saw my allowance on the table, and my mother looked somewhat stunned. She then told me they had to put her down. She was old and sick so it was only appropriate.

Yes, it is very painful to have such experience. I lost my cat in such an accident. It's terrible.

Yes I have pets that have also passed away. I have a silky terrier that needs to be put down because she is too old and is suffering from kidney complications. It was difficult to let her go but i dont want to see her in pain as well.

Yes, I had. His name was Bambi. It really broke my heart and I was down for weeks. He really was a good dog and I missed seeing him every morning waking me up.

I had two dogs were killed by car accident and one duck also

A little more than ten years ago, two of my cats were killed by cars. Fortunately, they weren't badly damaged and I was able to retrieve them in order to give them a proper burial in my yard.

To me losing a pet is the same as losing a humanbeing member of your family. I'm sorry for your loss, I know what it's like to mourn the loss of a pet.

This is a pic of my favorite cat, Dylan, who passed away last year. we had him for 12 yrs. He was set in his ways, but that was ok with us because he was so loving.

Sorry for the loss of your first dog. I was never the one to keep pets so I haven't experienced something so tragic. How do you feel about your loss nowadays to you still weep?
