Are You the Driver that Everybody Fears?

What kind of driver are you? Are you the driver that runs the red light after it turns red? Are you the driver who cuts off others just so you can be first? Are you the driver who uses your cellphone while driving and either holds up traffic because you are driving too slowly or endangers other because you are weaving in and out of your lane due to inattentiveness? Are you the habitual tailgater, even in inclimate weather? Are you a speed demon even in a school zone? Do you ignore emergency vehicles and school buses loading and/or off loading children? Are you the driver who splashes pedestrians on a rainy day? Just what kind of driver are you? We all have our moments and have made mistakes from time to time but who I really want to hear from are the habituals; what do you do and why do you keep on doing it? Do you ever feel bad about your driving habits or do you feel you are intitled to drive anyway you want? We want to hear from you.

i think i'm a pretty good driver. i never run a light after it turns red, but i have gone through as it was turning red. speaking of bad drivers, my husband and i have come across some lately. he had a woman behind him that was reading a magazine as she was driving. she had it up on her steering wheel and was reading it as she was driving. then i just came across a woman doing the same thing infront of me the other day. i worry when i see people talking on phones or doing other things while driving. i have my 3 small children in the car, what happens when these people aren't paying attention and rear end me?

You get rear-ended, hard! I know, I've been hit twice by inattentive drivers; once at a red light and again when stopped in traffic. I was also broadsided by a driver going too fast for conditions. It is scary. I am fearful that one day someone will seriously hurt me. I am not the best driver, but I do try to be safe, especially when it comes to others. I would be destroyed if I hurt someone behind dumb stuff. I do not believe some drivers realize the concequences of their actions until it is too late. That makes me very sad.
