Have you ever had glamour shots done? I know a few people that have had them done and really like the results. I have been pondering getting them done but there isn't any place close by that does them. Have you had them done...did you like the results? Was it worth the money?

I did have Glamour Shots done about 10 or 12 years ago. The photos turned out fantastic. I would do it again. It was well worth the money. I took our 3 daughter's with me and they had it done also so it was a very expensive day but we had a great time. Actually it was their idea so I went along with them.

what kind of glamor shots are you talking about jill? i have done this twice i think. i went to a studio wearing one of my best clothes and i had my picture taken. the photographer took care of my poses and i really liked the results. some of the copies were taken by my friends and i still have some of them in my wallet and photo album.

Yes...you go to the studio and they even do your make up then touch up the pictures so you look glamourous! I've seen others that have done them and they are nice to have. Since I need one for my sign when I do sales I might spend the money and get them done!

so you call that glamor shots! here in our place, even with the popularity of digital camera, many people still go to the studio to get their pictures taken. me and my friends have done it. we went to a studio and got our group picture taken. and then, some students who have graduated would still go to the studio and get their pictures taken.
good luck to having your glamor shot taken!

I had them done when I was thirteen. My sister had them done at the same time, she was fifteen. Our birthdays are two years and one month apart, so my mom gave them to us as a birthday gift. It was fun! I had always been mistaken for someone about 6 years older than I always was, so when I left after the shoot, in all that makeup, I got quite a few stares, it was fun at the time. At thirteen I looked older, but had no idea how to do makeup to 'play' any of that up. I'm glad I have them now to look at. Now days they have improved their shots, but it is more expensive. I'd say if you want to do it, it will be worth it. And at the very least, you can get it done and buy the cheapest package. Then go out and do something fun with your hair and face made up. You'll have a night on the town!

no, I have never had them done. It is so not me to be dressed to the nines - and having out there hair and outlandish make-up, well make up of any kind or style is not me. I guess that is the appeal of the process though, isn't it? to create a you that is not you. I guess it is not only not me, it is nothing that I want to be either.
