I have a sheltie and she is my baby. We got her when she was 4 weeks old. I find it funny how she thinks she is one of my kids. If they close the door so she can't get in with them, she comes and whines to me. Or if she can't go outside with them, she looks out the window at them. Anybody else who has a dog like this? If anyone has a sheltie I would love to see how they act. She also runs cirlces around the kids, not sure if she is trying to herd them up or what.

Hello I have two golden retriever/black labs (sisters) that are 8 months old. When I am with them, I most definitely feel like they are my two big troublemaker children. They are so spoiled that they try to climb up on the couch with me. They constantly want attention. One of my girls always cries and comes to the bedroom when the door is closed because she wants to come in. Sometimes she gets a chance to sneak in and sleeps in the room. She'll even cry and look at us (like she wants us to do something) when her sister is laying on the pillow she likes to lay on. This one's name is Pepper. She thinks she is human. She barely eats all her food and seems to want what we are having. Sometimes when I am on the couch and Pepper wants attention, she will constantly put her paw on me like a hand. My big girls climb into my lap like children too.
