Well I want to know from anyone that smokes what they think of it, Do you enjoy it? Do you hate it? personally I hate smoking, I want to quit soooo bad, I started smoking a year ago I was 24 when I started. I had never taken a hit of a cig ever, I was going through some things in my life and made a stupid decision, But now its so hard to quit, what do you all think?

Hi I'm nixxi and I"m a smoker.. There are a lot of thinks I dislike about smoking which is the prices of ciggarettes now. My hubby and I both smoke and we always by two packs at a time and always have since we met so that's almost $20 there but no matter what we will always scrounge up enough money to buy a pack when money's tight. I also don't like the way my life revolves around smoking either. When I'm driving to work I have to smoke, or on my breaks I go for a smoke, or after a meal I go for a smoke. The think about smoking I like is that when I'm stressed out I have something to turn to and I grab a cigg and relax. I don't smoke inside my house, I just refuse to no matter where I lived wether it was in an apartment or house. I find the smell of smoke lingering in my breathing air bothers everyone. Ever since I had my son who is 7 now it's taught me a lot not to smoke indoors either. I think smoking relaxes me but in the long run I don't think that I'll be relaxed when I either inherit lung cancer, or emphazima. I work in a nursing home and see results of what smoking does and that scares me. I guess in a way I'm hipocritical when it comes to smoking but it's the addiction that gets me. I wished I never started, but I sure ask to quit but feel it's going to be impossible because it's been part of my life for over 20 years.

I also think that when trying to quit smoking that talking about it won't help. It's psychological for me where it's my hands that have to be doing something like holding the ciggarette. When I see a commercial about smoking what do I automatically do? Go outside and have a ciggarette! I would suggest if you want to quit, then do things where you don't think about it. My mom had a friend who joined weightwatchers after she quit smoking because she had to keep her mind preoccupied with that instead of smoking. Me? I like smoking sometimes and othertimes I hate it but I can't quit because I don't want to. If you ever do try again... good luck with that

I get grumpy and every noise makes me mean. (I did it yesterday when I tryed to go without) I Really want to quit before ive been doing it for two years.

I've been smoking now for almost 20 years and I happen to enjoy it. Its one of the few things I do enjoy in life actually. At times they are the only thing that help me keep sane. I wish you luck, if you want to quit the best I can suggest is to get rid of them and just don't have them around. I really can't offer much advice in this matter I only quit before for a short time due to not being able to smoke where I was. I didn't have any problem with not smoking at that time but that's me.

My dad was like that, He loved to smoke, It just hurts my lungs in the morning, Its like its so hard to breath, Feels like theres this burning in my lungs but its only in the morning and I never had it before I started smoking. I havent had a cig yet this morning and im try hard not to, I want to go the whole day if I can. I know if I make it a whole day I will do better its getting past the first few cigs of the morning.

Well I'll be honest, if you have them there they are going to be a temptation. It's best to just get rid of them and not have them there at all. Makes it a lot easier. Good luck.
