I think that one way to sleep better would be to try to get to sleep at the same time each night so that your body will get used to sleeping around that time and expect it. Also, I have heard that it is good to make sure you aren't doing other things like watching tv in bed, that way whenever you get into bed, your body will know that it's time to sleep. I've also heard that getting exercise each day can help you to sleep better at night.

Have you tried drinking camomile tea? It's a herbal tea so doesn't contain any chemicals. I had trouble sleeping and tried a few natural herbal sleeping tablets which only made me feel more sleepy the following morning! After drinking camomile tea before I go to bed I found that I slept better and was more lively in the morning because I've had a good night's sleep. My niece had the same problem - sometimes she didn't get to sleep until 3am and started getting black circles round her eyes. After I introduced her to camomile tea it worked almost instantly, something she never thought possible! Give it a try - you don't need to add any sugar or milk. Let me know how you get on.

The best way to get good sleep is to keep it on a schedule and get used to going to bed at the same time and waking at the same time.
Start around 1-2 hours before bedtime getting relaxed and ready! That means..turn off the tv, no video games, take a relaxing bath, read a book that bores you..whatever ot takes to calm your body down!
Works every time. We do it for our kids. When we grow up we don't do the same fro ourselves! But we should. It does work.
Hope this helps!
