Life can be hard but I believe that it is not what life brings us that determines our success or failure. It is how we respond to it. Often times, we do not have have control of what happens to us but we can chose to remain positive no matter what. We don't live long enough to spend it complaining of what we have or what we don't have. So I just give it my best shot. How about you?

I have to agree. I'm a firm believer that certain things that we want or wish to have are just not meant to be. Sometimes things are thrown at us to show us that we can overcome many problems, that we have the ability to deal with life's bumpy roads. When things don't come the way I think they should, I also think it's just not my turn yet.

If there is something I have learned in my 48 years, life is too short to be unhappy all the time. If you don't like what you have, or want something more, then figure out how to get there, but don't just sit around and complain about it. We can not control nature, or other people, we can control how we react to something. We can choose to live a life that looks for the good to come, or we can sit back feel defeated and whine and complain about it, but that's just a waste of time.

I agree with you. Life is what you make it despite the hardships, and it is a wasted life if you spend it wishing for better things. Why should life be easy? We learn from experience and an easy life would not make a person wise. I would rather be wise than have an easy life.

Life is really too short to focus on our lack, our problems, hardships, failures and all things or situations that keeps us down. No matter how life seems so unfair to us at times, it is on our hands if we will let ourselves drown in the works of the enemy, the devil, in our lives. Thats why for me, as hard as it is to do, I try to be optimistic and believe that in everything there is a purpose and a reason behind which is for my own good. Life molds us to be the best person we can be until the time we give back our lives to our Creator.

Yes, life can indeed be hard. If I had to count the hardships I had to face, I think it would be impossible. So, like you, I choose to live it to the fullest and with my very best shot. Life should not be spent pondering on the bad things that has happened, but we should be thankful for all the blessings despite what ever happens in our lives. As what the saying goes, "when one door closes, another one opens." There will always be hope, and there will always be a tomorrow to try again. :) Live happy!
