Since this term ,my girl who is in primary4 now had not been doing well.As she had been a top student in her class for the pass three year.I am worry about her .When chating with friends the suggest that i should sent her for tuition ,while some suggest home tuition. So i tried sending her to tuition centre. However after afew mth.i don't see improvement, therefor i stop her.Than i got a home tuitor for her but her latest class test result still remain poor.So what is the next best thing to do for her?How can i help her to do well again?Almost 95% of my friend's kids have tuition and they think this is the only way out. What do you suggest? What is your view in this topic.

If she was a top student before but is not now, I'd be looking for a reason behind it, which could be many things. Is she being bullied? Does she like her teacher? Is her eye sight fine? And her hearing? How well does she read - dyslexia could be a problem? It may be a matter of elimination - going through all possible causes & elimanating whatever is fine. It might be worth taking her to a paediatrician for tests. Your friends saying tuition is the only way out are wrong, I'm sorry. There could be a problem you are not aware of that is causing her low grades.

Thankyou for the suggestions, and i will be looking into these possiblities. I was thinking maybe hormone changes at her age is causing and affecting her.
