I would have to say vanilla. It comes in so many more brands and variations. It is the most common flavoured accompaniment to a pudding, and it's just found in more places.

I think that vanilla is more famous. I notice more people buying vanilla than chocolate

I'd probably have to say vanilla. It's a very subtle flavor that I think would appeal to a wider range of people. I myself have never liked chocolate ice cream but I do like vanilla.

Vanilla Beans and Flower - Vanilla Flower with beans
I have to say Vanilla is way more popular than chocolate. But I am looking at this from a cooking point of view. When people make anything ranging in the vicinity of baking or maybe pancakes and waffles, even down to drinks like eggnog and milkshakes, people love to add in vanilla extract in there. Personally I love chocolate but I have this habit as well with the vanilla extract and adding it into most of my recipes and even putting a little extra. I also use a perfume called Vanilla Musk by Coty. But there are perfumes and body powders that are chocolate flavoured. My boss loves to wear that! I also like vanilla scented body wash and lotion. But I don't use vanilla body lotion alot as I have trouble getting it. i think it is always sold out! Overall...Vanilla gets my vote.
