Olives with Pasta

Has anyone ever tried black olives with pasta, with a little olive oil or butter and some fresh grated parmesan cheese? It's very good. Or you can also add some other veggies to the mix such as tomatoes and spinach.
What's your favorite pasta with olives dish?

Sounds really good and when I can have cheese again I'll try it! I like olives in just about anything!

Yes I have tried it, I will experiment with any kind of food, and make up my own dishes, it is usually very good. In pasta, I love spinach, or broccoli, olives, mushrooms, green peppers, any kind of combination, plain with cheese, with cheese sauce, or with meat and tomato sauce.

I have tried that, it's very good. Some people put chicken in theirs ... I abstain from both chicken and anchovies. I get onions, mushrooms, and extra olives in mine usually!

Oh yes I work in an Italian restaurant.And They fix me alot of things that aren't even on the menu.They eat black with pasta quite often. I love everything they make.I love mexican food too and they also use black olives in some dishes.

That's true! I'm a big fan of many different cuisines, from Italian and Spanish/Mexican to Asian and Greek/Meditarranean. There is always some dishes from each culture that are delicious!

I love just garlic and olive oil with green olives and some parmesan cheese! Yummy! Plain and simple to make.

Oh yes I've had olives in pasta MANY times! I'm Italian, and my family eats a lot of pasta. I get sick of it sometimes, but when there's something different thrown in every now and then, it can be great. I really like my aunt's home made pasta sauce, which is like a marinara, she throws mushrooms and olives in it. It's really good like that! My mom also made pasta sauce with bits of chicken and broccoli in it once. That was amazing, the broccoli just soaked up the flavor of the sauce so well. I think I may actually make that for dinner sometime this week.
