maybe you think you are smarter than him and just wonder how he/she became a teacher or a proffessor (if you are in university). Have you?

yeah some teachers are really stupid I don't know how they became teacher. I think a continuous evaluation process must be done for these teachers cause it is the future of our kids we are talking about. good question.

yes... i have one proctor that i cant really forget.. shes teaching physiology, a word that she never spelled right.. i hate her for her poor english grammar, before the lesson proper she will always say "lets rose for the word of prayer", huh shes the worst teacher ive met.. because of that me and my friends dont attend her classes and we almost failed her subject, and i cant permit that, i plotted a game, a betting game, who will stay longest in her class, and because no one wants to give money, all of us force ourselves to stay in her class, and fortunately we survived her class even none of us listen to her, all of us passed her subject...

you bet! i often thought of that not only once but oftentimes whenever i see this particular instructor during my college days, this person which i hate to say is very self-righteous and don't listen to the opinion of her students, she also hate to admit her fault or mistake when it comes to class discussions in which i think is natural to make a mistake. oh i hate this lady, it seems like nobody is good enough for her. its a good thing i pass her subject with an A+..lol

I hate this category of people. they should learn to listen. how are you gonna be a teacher if you do not know how listen. congts for your A+ grade. I am sure you deserve it. keep going and best wishes

Well, all the time! When I was a student,I labored myself far more clever than most of my teachers. However, when I grow up,I realized that I am quite wrong! And now,I treat everyone as a teacher since I believe that each one maybe better than me in certain aspects.

I know that the teacher is stupid. I know more Spanish than the Spanish teacher. And one of the biology teacher's knows nothing of biology.

Since I am a student, there's nothing new to me so I can't be smarter than the teacher...especially in the program i am in. So far in my unviersity, I didn't come across a stupid teacher but i did in college. However, it doesn't mean that i was smarter then him or her. It was just the was she was teaching that was bad and couldn't answer to student's quetions.

Yes, a couple of times. There are professors who do not really know what they are talking about but just spout words to cover up. There are others who steer away from a topic they don't know about by asking you about the topic. But beware of those professors who try to trick you by pretending to be stupid and when you have responded, they grill you sarcastically.

i have had this experience before. i dont think my teacher is stupid exactly because how did he ever become a teacher if he is totally stupid?! right? i just think that his skills in teaching in my standards or the way he teaches things is not what you probably call 'understandable' to me, and sometimes to my fellow classmates. i have never thought of me being a smarter person than he is though, i mean, who am i to say that i am smarter than he is when i dont 'really know him' that well. he could be a great intellectual but doesnt know how to articulate what he is saying very well to the audience or the students. in cases like these i would just do my best to listen to the teacher and take notes and read books that he has recommended. and ask the people in my class who understood him what in the world was he talking about. lol
