do you dip your fries in a mayonnaise or in a ketchup?

a mixture of mayo and ketchup is always the best, although I sometimes dip it in mustard or gravy as well.

usually ketchup... but try dipping them in vanilla Ice cream.. IT Awsome!! Try it and let me know what you think.. I'm sure you're gonna love it.. I usually do it when I go to mc donalds. I get fries with caramel ice cream...

I usually dip fries I order at fast food in ketchup but, I also dip them at sundaes, gravy, mustards if theres any.. I guess I'll try mayo too but, I think sour cream has mayo in it, right?

I dip my french fries in ketchup, but I'm quite satisfied even without any dip. Just plain salt will do. I'm not really a big mayo fan, but then again I haven't tried dipping fries in mayo. Oooh...fries dipped in ice cream...I love that combo!

I love french fries! I always eat that thing in the fast food and we have fries at home for our siesta or snacks! I love dipping it with mayonnaise and ketchup. I put mayonnaise first then after that I add ketchup and some pepper on it! Yum! yUm! My younger sister love to dip it in a vanilla icecream!

Dipping fries in mayonnaise or ketchup or mixed mayo and ketchup is really delicious. It makes eating fries a more pleasurable experience. However, eating french fries is already fattening, how much more if we dip it in mayonnaise? Since I'm trying to lose some weight, I avoided eating fries especially the ones from fast foods. I there are instances that I have to eat some, I avoid the mayonnaise and just dip it in ketchup.

i dip mine in both at the same time.. i love the taste of ketchup and mayonnaise.. and i enjoy my french fries more with it... but once i tried to not dip into a mayochup-dip but instead i poured soy milk on my cheesed fries, and i regret it

I love french fries! I think I can eat them with pretty much anything but would have to go with ketchup or cheese as my favorite. I never tried mayo with fries but heard it was good

yes, I love my fries dip in mayo but you should also tried dipping it in chicken gravy, you will love it too!

Ketchup or sweet-sour sauce is my usual choice. Mayo disgusts me really(no offends to people who like it), and I can't think of why anyone whould like that, but we're only human.

Ummmm....how about neither? I HATE mayonnaise and have never really liked ketchup. Salt is perfect! But if I'm having a good steak, dipping it in the A-1 (or if it's a Jack Daniel's steak from Fridays, in their sauce? MMMMMM!!!) I also love cheese fries--but the cheese has to be hot and gooey!

I usually just fip my fries in ketchup. I would have to say that's my favorite way to eat them. I do sometimes dip a few fries in my Frosty when I eat at Wendy's, but I don't usually eat them all that way. At one restaurant, I was given a side of ranch dressing to dip them in, and that was really good, too! Mostly though, I just use ketchup. :)

it depends where i am too. fast food i usually don't dip my fries in anything i like them just with a little salt. sometimes i like to dip them in ranch or cheese. my favorite is fries with ranch, cheese and bacon on them. mmmmm now i'm hungry. one of our local bar/restaurants has really good fries. they put a little bay seasoning on them and then top the piles of fries with ranch, bacon and cheese. its sooo good. not very good for you, but it tastes so good you don't care lol.

Hi rhane7315! You're just like my eldest niece. She just loves dipping her fries on her ice cream sundae. I had a taste of it before and it is alright but not something I would really go for. I do prefer to dip my fires in ketchup. Just my thoughts. take care and have a nice day!

Mayonnaise is popular in France for fries, but I like both catsup and mayo mixed together. My daughter likes ranch dressing or the catsup and mayo blend or I have seen her dip the fries in ice cream, too. But, it's been a long time since she did that.

I love to dip mine in tartare sauce or hollandaise sauce! I also like dipping them in mayo if I don't have either of those. And I have to agree, if I am eating fast food I will dip them in my ice cream too! LOL!
