Im getting my first tattoo.

So this summer im getting my first tattoo. well actually im getting two im getting my moms name tattooed on my chest because I luvs my mom lol and im getting a cross with the words the way the truth and the light either on the cross or beneath it because all my life god has steered me in the right direction and he hasant failed me yet. Ive had my heart sat on getting inked up for awhile. and this is a decision thats going to be with me for the rest of my life lol.
So mylotters what kind of tattoos do you guys have and why did you get that tattoo? also do you love your tattoo or do you regret geting it.

i have three tattoos.i have a dragon on my hip,a sword on my big toe,and a cross on my hand... i love my tats.i got them when i was in my teen years.i almost 40 years old now. i dont regret them in fact i wouldnt mind getting another one...tattoos are very addictive . i dont know why but once you get one you want another and another.my only addvice is be selective and creative about where and what you have tattooed. good luck :)

Ha thanks for the advice. im a sword collector myself so the sword tattoo sounds really awsome. quick question do you have to keep updating your tattoo's throught the years to make them stay new looking?

acually after 15 years or more the color of my tattoos still look good even after years of sun exposure in florida.

I have four tattoos, each one of them is my own artwork and done by a very professional tattooist. Personally I would not have a name, any name, as a tattoo but that is my own opinion. I am very happy with my tattoos, and have no regrets at all.

I would love to have one or more on me too but my parents won't just agree with having one because I'm going to have some difficulties once tattooed like getting jobs or going abroad. Whatever.

Thats why you get tattoos that can be hidden whenever you go into the professional world. im getting mine on my bicep and torso they can be hid easily. and yeah my parents said once im 18 I could get my first tattoo and im 19 no so when this semester ends I plan on getting a cpl. thanks and goodluck to you as well

I have a tattoo of a cross on my shoulder blade and I love it. I thought long and hard about something that would always be important to me before I decided to get the tattoo. Please make sure you are going to a tattoo shop that is clean and follows the rules about hygiene and safety. You should also ask to see some of the tattoo artist's previous work before going under the needle. Good luck to you.

Hi there. I have 6 tattoos, these are: on my lower back I have my cultral design, over the whole of my right foot a dragon, on the inside of my left forearm I have a chinese symbol, I have a vine around my tummy button represents life, 2 small dragons on both sides of my torso and I have a Harley Davidson motor, with an eagle and a wolf in the background. I got my first tattoo in my teens and have been getting them ever since. I think once you get one, you get another, tattoos can be on going for some. I dont regret any of my tattoos, they all have meaning for me and I love them all. Goodluck with the tatts and have a great day...

Ha nice, that harley davidson one sounds like something similar I wanted. When I finally get a toyota supra I want to get the supra engine tatted on my bicep with a ninja domo on it.

I feel that tattoos are a symbol of the person that you are. Each tattoo means something to the person that got it and tattoos done the right way can be very sexy.

ha thats exactly why im getting one. I want to be able to wear a mask and let people see the tattoo and they will know its me . so that why Im trying to be creative and design each one I do.

I got my first tattoo my senior year of college two years ago. It's on my lower back and I love it. I ended up getting two more which I love despite my grandfather harassing me about it.

Lol my grandfather is a pastor and evertime I would bring up getting a tattoo he would scould me lol. and told me not to get one untill I was a adult lol. im 19 now and I plan on getting 2 or 3 this summer all designed by me lol.
