I'm sure that I'm not alone when I state that I'm burned out from listening to..

the presidential candidates yammer on and on and on. They point out some of the obvious problems and complications in our nation and the world. Yet never say what they intend to do to remedy the situations. I know it's all idle prattle but give us something. And I'm tired of seeing these people 'playing' in these huge forums to thousands. They need to go to smaller venues. More intimate settings. Like a homeless shelter where a percentage there are U.S. veterans; or or a high school in the city or the burbs that has a high rate of teen pregnancy or violence and the kids are seniors [near voting age]. While they are there they should not only do a Q & A w/ the student body but should personally register these kids to vote. How about donating a healthy percentage of their campaign contributions, red tape free, directly to the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans to clear the land and rebuild the homes of the home & land owners that resided there when Katrina hit? The tourist trap french qtr. of 'Nawlins will be fine and is fine. But it's the lower middle class and poor people, from the lower 9th, that make up the majority of the staff of these establishments. Their the entertainment that give that city it's flavor. It's pitiful. We only 'know of' these people from what we read in the papers- on the news feeds-etc. Hillary is a NY senator but I can't tell you a damn thing that would stand out that she's done for NY or our nation. Her claim to any notoriety is being married to Bill. Whom needs to be reigned in and is starting to show his True Tactics and ways in the public eye, to the dismay of their PR. Ugghhh! It's all just tedious and exhausting to suffer this incessant daily 'wind- bagging'. I know, I know it's not a word dear reader but it is for me right now, so just roll with it. LOL! Well I've yammered on enough. I'm also sure that a majority of us U.S. citizens already know whom we're voting for in November. I'm voting. It's also my national right that neither I or anyone else disclose our party or presidential choice. What I will say is this, I'm doing a write in vote and my choice is NOT one of the big 3. But really, enough already. They really know how to wear a gal out. Thank goodness for the internet, animal planet & remote controls. Peace♣

I understand what you are saying. I hear a lot of talk from the candidates, but not a concrete plan on how to accomplish anything. It is very annoying. They only talk about what they consider to be high visual issues. They ignore some of the smaller issues that really are just as important, but don't get anywhere near the exposure they deserve. Most of all, I believe the candidates lack character and personality. Everything I hear from them sounds so rehearsed. I find it all very irritating.

I read your "rant", I wouldn't really call it that, you did round back towards the fact that you have freedoms other countries don't have and that's what makes America great. The politics of this land need serious reform, but try to reform a bunch of lawyers! I'm not looking to one person in the gov to make my life better, they look down on us as pawns. I see the greatness of this nation being discovered in the people who live and work in the real world. Sure, we need laws to keep us moral but not laws to keep us from enjoying life. I don't depend on any president to make my life better but if they don't have an inspirational platform, and I'm not talking about hope in government, then who is going to listen to them. B.O., Hitler or John MC don't have anything to offer so when one of them gets elected and I'm praying for two of them to never get the chance again, I hope its only for four years. During that time, we need a leader to arise that will inspire us to do great and be candid about it, too much is put on the praise of people. Find your own strength and flex your heart muscle.
