WOW! I have never really though of this until cleaning house recently. I have a cat. Well, okay not a real live breathing cat, but a cat none the less. This is one of those knick-knacks that sits on the edge of a shelf with it's tail as a counter balance hanging over the edge of the shelf. I have had this for many years and love it sitting on my computer desk. Do you have any animal knick-knack like this with the tail hanging off the shelf? Oh my son did buy thre cutest little kitten Sunday and brought it over. Buster loved it as well. All white with a slight tinge of gray sprinkled and streaked through the top of it's head. I didn't get a photo dang it. This is a photo of my cat CLIFF. Yes that is my daughters modeling photo in the background. A very beautiful woman I must say.

I think your cat CLIFF is beautiful. I also have a bunny that sits on my shelf over the fireplace. I love bunnies. And speaking of bunnies last night when I looked out my kitchen window I saw a bunny eating grass. So why dont I see them in the winter time? Where do they go?

It is so cute too. He named it "BABY" Mom suggested Lady then I said it is a lovely lady so I suggested LLADY. The extra "L" for lovely. Just to be different. But you know Nate he isn't very creative with pet names.

Cliff is just too cute! So....did you give him that name because his tail basically makes him a "cliff-hanger"? Teeheehee! (I know...warped dry humor!) I don't have anything like that. But now that I've been introduced to Cliff, I think I'm going to have to go find me one. At least your kitty doesn't cost anything to feed like mine do. LOL! And the picture of your daughter is absolutely gorgeous!

Now that's a good cat to have...lol No food, no grooming...and no litter box..lol
We have 4 cats in the house one is a munchkin cat with short front legs, a calico, a black and white, and a white with black blind cat. Outside we have 5 males and 3 females all spayed and neutered thanks to the humane society. Actually they are all my mother's cats with the exception of Cocoa my Munchkin.
What we don't have is one like yours..with the tail hanging over....hehe
By the way yes your daughter is quite attractive...
Blessed Be, Mari

I have at least four cat statues. All are out the back. When I was much younger I used to collect cat statues. They are such a nuisance to display & dust.
My daughter now has a few cat statues.
When you said your son bought the cut5est little kitten, do you mean a real live one?
I love my cats.

Yes, he got a real live tiny little kiten. I remember bidding once at an auction on one of those tall black Ehyptian standing cats. It was about 3 feet tall and of course the bidding went WAY beyond my realm of bidding. But I would have loved that one sitting in the corner of my living room.

That is a beautiful Persian you have there, Grandpa Bob. I don't really 'do' knick-knacks being I hate dusting and they can be great dust-catchers.

I have a lot of figurines...all types actually...I have some figurines of the collection of the Beatrix Potter characters that I have on my bureau dresser, since I'm a Wolf nutcase have figurines of wolves on top of my computer hutch--Also on that bureau dresser are four funny posed kitties that are yikes I don't know how old...older than me that's for sure--as for figurines that hang over a bit from a shelf...no way...that would be too much of a temptation for my kitties to bat down I think

Cool deal. I have a niece that is also an avid wolf figurine and artwork collector. She has an immense collection that is worth a small fortune. I have knocked this down a few times and luckily it is still intact. I had a puppy one that I broke awhile back.

I love kitties, but am so allergic, I wouldn't be around to enjoy them for very long if they lived with me. Here is a picture of one of my kitties I collect. I had a bigger collection, but lost a few in the move. I prefer weird kitties, but this guy was so cute I picked him up anyway. He's keeping watch over my fish. I inherited the fish from a neighbor who was moving and didn't want to take them cross country - imagine that.

Thats one cute cat and way cheaper than our three to look after! WHen I moved here from England having got rid of virtually all my possessions the only things I shipped over were cd's, photos and a whole box of teddy bears collected from people and places all through my adult life. They were sitting on the edge of each step of the stairs. A very warm and furry welcome every night when you get in from work. They are currently in hiding as we redecorate!

I buy porcelien dolls at auctions for my daughter. She has a nice collection now. Cats are so cuddly also. I miss my cat but I have a Beagle now.

Actually I love cats but all of my 4 are all alive and well and spoiled wrotten..I do have a crystal eagle that sits on my desk and I recently added a crystal dolphin with a light that changes colors and really adds to the relaxation while I am working online..Most of my knicknacks are put away at the time for in the remodeling, painting and the such but once they come out the wolves and bears and kittens, squirrels and such will be prowling around the shelves.
