When I got to the toilet and go get the toilet roll, I often find that there is an empty roll. Why can they not put it in the bin, I mean the bin is in front of them so it pretty easy to do, even if your sat on the toilet!! Why leave it??Does this annoy anyone else or is it just me??

Funny you started this discussion as yesterday I had a big tidy up and I found not one, not two but FOUR empty bog rolls floating around in the bathroom. I also find that I am the one who throws the rubbish out. Why can men never change the toilet roll? I know my Dad is the same, mum moans he will get a new roll out but never ever throws the old one away even though the bin is right near the toilet. So no it doesn't just annoy you, it annoys most women...lol

Just shows how often you clean your bathroom out having found FOUR empty toilet rolls hahahaha I get boyfriend to throw rubbish out as he has the key to the bottom of the rubbish chute. I think it might just be men in general, what I might do is leave the next one and see how many empty toilet rolls I end up with!! hmmm.....maybe not lol

Yup my partner does it aswell, even my eldest daughter who is only 4 puts them empty one in the bin and replaces it with a new one lol, that still hasnt shamed him into doing it himself though!

Once again, I can relate with you about this thingy. One of the housemates here would never replace a tissue when she is the one who has finished it. She thinks that the empty roll has got feet and it can go to the bin by itself. If she did it once it's okay. But if she's been doing it all this time it's not funny anymore.

No it's not just you, my boyfriend does this a lot except he leaves just one sheet. It drives me crazy. It isn't just toilet paper either, he leaves a tiny amount of food/liquid in jars, cartons etc. I don't know why he can't just finish it, it's like he doesn't want the responsibilty of dealing with an empty jar/carton.

In the kitchen in my office people leave empty cans and boxes out all the time. Today I showed a fellow worker and empty can and he said " yeah " and just ignored the issue. People seem to think they are all Kings and so everything will be done for them. Its lack of home training. So you either throw away the roll or leave it. Then, of course, you may still see it there when you go back.
