Have you read this book? Did you declutter your home after reading it? I just finished the first chapter and I'm really wanting to get busy decluttering already.

Whew! I haven't read it but I should seriously give some thought of getting it to read and then maybe pass it on to my mother because she is the Queen of clutter And with it being that time of year where we look around and say what in the world and where did all this come from and how? I am deffinately getting geared up for spring cleaning just waiting on being able to get the supplies I need for it all. I dread washing walls but since we heat with kerosene and my husband smokes it is needed. So Maybe I can check this book out at the library or something and get my cleaning groove on.

You really should read it and then pass it on to your mother. Not only does it tell you how to declutter, it addresses how all of this clutter is affecting us mentally.

I think it comes from growing up and not having alot so we surround ourselves with clutter now because we can, it makes us feel as though we have alot and mentally helps us feel more comfortable to know we have things. Even if it is things we don't necessarily need.. But its there we know if we do and in some weird way it makes us happier. But hten their are the times that to much is to much and it feels as those our closets are bursting and going to suffocate us from the overflow. Even I have cleaned out my closets atleast 4 times last year alone and they are filled to the gills right now. with might be used later or maybe use. So maybe this book is something to help us and get our minds wrapped around the idea we don't need all this clutter and it is just stuff.
