I just finished reading an article in our local paper about a foreign exchange student who was caught abusing his puppy. This student was seen walking his dog and when the dog didn't listen to him he started kicking the dog, and then lifted the dog off of the ground by pulling up the dog's leash. The final act of this monster was to throw the puppy at a fire hydrant. Someone who witnessed this abuse started yelling at the student to stop, but he wouldn't. The witness then followed the student home and notified police about the incident. While waiting outside of the student's apartment for the police to arrive, the witness could hear the puppy howling in pain from inside the apartment. Police later arrived to find that 2 of the puppy's legs were shattered. This 2 month old dog was so badly beaten that the humane society had to put him down. They could do nothing to help him. What kind of animal is this student? When asked why he did this to the dog he stated that he was training the puppy. He then tried to justify his actions by saying that since he was from another country he could not be held responsible for his actions because in his country they do not have any laws against animal cruelty. I will not name the country because that isn't the point and I don't want to start some sort of prejiduce against that race. Have you ever heard of something so horrible? I am just sick about the whole thing.

I don't care what his own country's laws are, he was not in his country at the time of this atrocious acts... he was in a country which had laws. Such cruelty to a poor defenceless puppy, should be punished harshly. The guy should receive the same cruel treatment as he dished out... threefold, and every time he tries to put a foot wrong. What life did that poor little creature have, before it was painfully taken from him by this monster. Lock him up, throw away the key, and give him the same harsh treatment! His stupid excuses are invalid... he's inhuman. Brightest Blessings, my friend.

I hope they lock him up in jail so the criminals can beat him like he beat that poor dog.
