Vitamins-do you take them

Vitamins is good for the body. It helps us to keep healthy and strong. It helps us fight sickness and increase our metabolism. I dont take vitamins religiously. Although even when we are young we were told to take vitamins, and even when we are older we were told to take vitamins. For me fruits, vegetables and other healthy foods is the best. But I came to know there are those who are taking 5 to 10 kinds of vitamins. Oh my I cant take that all. How about you, do you take your vitamins?

Yes I regularly take them. Because I have to keep healthy for my work. If I gonna be sick and absent I will have no salary for that day.

Thats good also. At least youre taking care of your health. But take healthy food also, and fruits and vegetables. An apple a day take the doctors away. Thanks for the response.

We take multiple vitamins daily. Some others we take are B complex, C and fish oil. also occasionally zinc and eichinacea. Truthfully, I forget to take them, like today for instance I am thinking of it right now, but may never get around to it. My husband used to be a fanatic and took tons of vitamins a day. Besides the fact that it was really expensive, I don't know that it helped him. Actually, I wondered if it harmed his body, liver perhaps, trying to process all that vitamins. I prefer to try to eat well and eat a variety of foods every week.

So yourself doesnt know if vitamins do good to your husband. The doctor must give presciptions on the medicine we have to take. Eating healthy food is the best, also some vitamins might not be appropriate to ones body metabolism. Thanks for the response.

i do take my regular dose of vitamin E, ascorbic acid and multivitamins because of my lifestyle, i smoke,drink and sleep late at nights but the best vitanins ever is taking in the right nutritional food available around which we usually ignore.

Good, at least you are taking your vitamins. But can you reduce your smoking, drinking and sleeping late. It is not good for your health. Taking healthy foods and fruits and vegetables is the best vitamins for our body. Thanks for the response.

Sometimes I would take some VE. Because I am told that my body need some VE to enforce my resistance. However, I think that I need no nitamins. The vegetables and fruit, and also the food we eat everyday give us enough vitamins. All the medicines do three cents of harm to our bodies. I believe the nature.

Thanks for the response. I also have the same idea of vitamins. If we take healthy foods and fruits and vegetables then we will be healthy also.
