How do you feel about the Drizzt series? I think it is one of my favorite series and among the best of the best. Drizzt is an extremely complex character and the way that the books are written is amazing. I have never regretted spending my time reading these books. What do you think of the series? Dan

oh Drizzt is one of my all-time favorite characters! in any series lol! i was only introduced to Salvatore about 4 years ago, but since then ive gotten every book that involves Drizzt! the only other book of Salvatore's that ive read is The Highwayman, which is pretty good. i really need to check out the other series he has. ive also come to adore Entreri and Jarlaxle too lol! you just cant help but love Jarlaxle!

That's good! Doesn't Jarlaxle have a bit of his own spinoff series, or is it only one book? It looked interesting but I wanted to finish the Drizzt series first. Jarlaxle is certainly an entertaining character. Flamboyant, wise and strange. I love how he (an "inferior" male) holds so much power in Female dominated Menzoberranzan. I've only gotten through the 1st 2 trilogies of the Drizzt series (the first three that detail his early life and emergence to the surface world and the Icewind Dale trilogy) and the first book of the next trilogy. I don't want to spoil the book but I was shocked what happened in the last book I read. But I think it is undone in a later book, which I think may actually be a bad thing. I like it when what happens in a book is permanent. It lets you appreciate it more. Drizzt is a phenomenal character. I'm itching to go out and buy the next few books but I don't have the cash ATM (nor the time lol) to justify spending another 20-60 bucks on fantasy books lol. Dan
