I am using the EON card of the Union Bank of the Philippines. It works smoothly. It is actually a debit card. And paypal is accepting them. Kudos and more power to you here. Post more and meet new friends.

Good to hear that Nengs, how do we apply for an EON card at Union Bank? How much do they charge? Hope you don't mind.) By the way, I see that you've been here long enough, I have this habit of joking short quoted phrases in Tagalog, do I violate any rules in any way? Thank you for your response and happy posting.

MoneyBookers, recognized as one of the biggest online payment system of the cyberspace, that shows the most rapid growing customers' base has announced 2007 as the most successful year in the history of company. CEO of MoneyBookers - Dr. Nikolai Reisenkampff announced the company was able to reach EUR 1.5 billion with the incredible increase of monthly critical mass. 4 million active users and 4,000 new account holders of electronic wallet as the obvious signs of success are mainly explained by integration of a new e-commerce merchant platform. Let us remind you that earlier in the year, march 2007, the company launched a new image of the website, expanded globally that matched with the buyout of the company by Investcorp Technology Partners for EUR105 million. Later, in May 2007, company welcomed Dr. Middelhoff, one of the most recognized European business leasers, as Chairman of the Board. MoneyBookers reflected the occurred demand of merchants looking for new features from sites as MoneyBookers. Company integrated new features "Split Gateway" (individual payment option as a one-stop solution), or let's say "Fast registration" process that allows to skip annoying multiple-step registration for all payment options directly at merchant's checkout. As it was declared by company officials they have even more ambitions plans for the upcoming year. "We will surprise the market with innovative payment solutions and provide online buyers ith an easier and more secure shopping experience than ever before".

When I joined mylot, Paypal was still not being accepted as payment in mylot. That was the time that paypal had newly allowed Philippine members to receive money. I had to contact mylotpayments regarding this matter and after two days, I could now use paypal to receive payments from mylot (although I haven't reached the payout amount yet).

So em I Gradav, at the time its eGold and I personally know one who cash out there trough BDO, but eGold has history, the reason i choose Paypal. Anyway, it would take some more time for us to cashout, so lets enjoy posting and responding for the time being, and maybe visit this discussion from time to time for updates. More power Gradav.

Hello se7enthbird, Yes, I've read Union Bank is processing Paypal from a blog site but that was last year, I never read any follow up stories that they actually did. Did your friend actually received his payout through them? My friend did receive her payout using eGold through her BPI express account, but we know the story of eGold which point me to choose Paypal. Thank you and happy posting.

This is a very interesting discussion. Well, I'm not a Pinoy but I'm your neighbour - fr MalaysiaRead through the postings, very interesting. In Malaysia, we cannot link our banks to PayPal although I heard the feature was once available but now no longer accessible due to the notorious people that abused the system. Unless one has a US bank a/c, now we can only draw out through a debit card. There's a USD 5 withdrawal charge for every transaction. Did you guys know you can actually have 2 PayPal accounts? 1 for personal & the other is business / premium. The difference is for the personal 1, they don't charge you anything for receiving PayPal funds; but if it's a Credit Card payment that you're receiving, the charge is about 5% which means it's higher than a business/premier a/c which is only abt 3.9% +/- depending on amount received in a month. If you have a business / premier a/c, any form of payment received is a flat rate 3.9% +/- charge. But remember, you'll have to use a different card on each PayPal a/c to be verified. Maybe it could be similiar for Philippines & Malaysia afterall

Thanks for pointing out the 2 paypal account mate, aside from having 2 different cards or bank account, we should also have 2 different email address. The rates I guest differ from country to country, here it is slightly higher. These rates are not my forte so I'll let somebody else(I hope) do the explaining. Just between us Zweeb, my P.Officer oblige me to do community work.

Hahah, community work!~ Oh yeah, forgot about the email address part. Another way of taking funds out from PayPal for us is to sell off / auction our funds on eBay or another popular auction website for us Malaysians is Lelong. But I find eBay is a better platform compared 2 Lelong as Lelong is very crammed, stuffy & look very unprofessional at times, I'm more familiar with eBay anyway

try www.moneybookers.com aside from paypal...and they posted a thread here "SWIFT" for bank codes which is a requirement for bank accounts under moneybookers..

I was thinking of having an alternate payment option and moneybookers works here in our country, I might reconsider if my online earnings is fruitful. Thanks Chubibo.)

Oh, by the way as you mentioned Moneybookers - it's definitely an alternative. PayPal charges us here in Malaysia USD5 per withdrawal if I use my debit card as most of us here obviously don't have a US merchant a/c which costs I think USD5000 to open ( foreigners ), Moneybookers charges a lower rate compared to PayPal so you guys can check it out. I'm still using PayPal as I have buyers who actually are wanting to buy PayPal funds from time to time, that's the only reason I'm still with PayPal if not I would have opted for Moneybookers & actually I do have Moneybookers setup by the way

I tried to payout some of my money in my paypal account in Landbank and its seems to have a problem. My money was transferred back in my paypal account and now they charged me and deducted some of my money. :( Im not very happy. SO instead of payout in our banks, I tried online shopping.

May I ask what specific problem have you encountered with LandBank? I've read in Paypal regarding errors fee, these are cause by erroneous entries in the transaction, like wrong spelling in name or address or wrong amout etc, that they have to reprocess the transaction/transfer, I can understand this(nothing is free anyway). That is why we realy have to be extra careful with what we fill up in this sort of forms and the reasons why I have started this discussion, for us new and old myLot members to be aware of what coming to us when we cash out. Thanks Everafter ... you're relatively new here and you cash out? How's your online shopping? share naman.

Oh, I think he was like me referring "cash out" not from mylot but the $$ that's in PayPal a/c. The charge could be he withdrew it to his credit card to offset it? Because it did put there in the PayPal site that we can withdraw it to our credit card but the thing is we have to double check with our banks. I don't think any Malaysian credit cards accept PayPal cash out, only debit cards. If Everafter used a credit card, he'd most probably be charged.

This is indeed a very good discussion. I learn so much from the replies of your friends here. I didn't have a pay out yet but I am expecting around $23 for my first payout before 15th of this month. I wonder if I could transfer that amount to my bank account in the Philippines and would be able to withdraw it. I knew that 50 pesos will be charged if the amount is less than 7 thousand and no charge for 7 thousand and up. I am not sure if this is still the ruling of paypal transfer.

Wow you did great Longbangod. Better check with your bank if they do or process paypal. I did check with paypal site a while ago and its still P50 for less than P7T, just make sure that paypal acount info matches with you bank account info to prevent a P250 return fee. If ever, you'll be the first Paypal cash out from this discussion. Please do return a post of the bank's name and charges is any. Thank you and good luck.
