Do you regularly take vitamins and minerals or supplements?

Its a common thing today that most people pop a pill or two of vitamins and minerals and supplements. Even if they are not sick, just to get going and stay healthy and fight fatigue and sickness, people take them. I take them once in a while when I feel a bit fatigue or low and when I have plenty of work to do that I often stay up late and am deprived of much needed sleep. Yes, it keeps me going but not rely on them much as I prefer healthy fresh food especially fruits and vegetables.

yes i regularly take supplements. we cannot get all our nutirents from the food that we take each day so taking vitamins is a good idea. usually, i take vitamin c tablets. i also take iron supplements.

I'm anemic from time to time, so I have to somtimes take iron. When I was a child, the doctor prescribed liquid iron. Oh man it was nasty! It tasted horrible!

I find it more helpful especially when i feel so fatigue and stress, but i didn't take it always. I have a healthy diet and no need for supplement but when i can't sleep right or eat right that's the time i really take supplements. Vitamin C is good for protection. I always make sure the maintenance of vitamin c supplement to my daughter and less in multivitamins, but still i know she need it.

I also make sure that my Vitamin C is ok as to keep my resistance level up. I also always remind my son to take it as I say: its prevention than cure. Thanks Alex. « Gab »

Even though I am eating properly, lots of proteins and vegetables and some fruits, I still take a one a day vitamin. I am dieting and so I know I am eating good and the right stuff, but I take a vitamin just in case I am not getting enough. A person can never get too many vitamins, in my mind, so I take one every day.

I try to take vitamins sometimes but I am not one that is good at taking pills I don't like to take them and most of the time I forget to take them. I do try to eat foods that have vitamins and minerals in them so I get my vitamins that way.

I know some people are not good in taking pills coz some pills are large. I also sometimes forget and just reminded when I see them or feel weak.

I do take vitamins when my doctor prescribes them during our regular check up. I sometimes use omega-3 capsules on my own as they come from pure and natural sources.

Thats healthy living for you taking additional Omega-3 supplement. Its good to know you have a regular check up with your doctor.

i always take vitamins and minerals after i get up cuz i can't fully absorb vitamins and minerals from vegetable.... i don't know why ...lol..maybe i am someone special....

dietitians say that if you eat properly you do not need supplements. I used to take them but I can't really afford them anymore, so I don't/

no i do not take until i am prescribed. i think what ever the vitamins and minerals are there with food are suufficient if we are not sufferring from any disease.

I think it absolutely awesome to be able to get all the vitamins you need through our daily diet. However, that is not possible for some people. Some of it is due to a natural deficiency in their bodies. Like my sister was born lacking a certain vitamin, and she has to take shots every month to get the right amount. I do take a daily vitamin, just one, and I did a lot of research before I bought the bottle. I looked up the most effective vitmains researched through studies, and found one that was at the top of most effective. I take it even when I feel fine because I want to keep that feeling. However, I have a lot of health problems. That makes me more determined to take the vitamin. Recently I have added more vegetables to my diet, and I have noticed a lot improvement in fatigue. I hope I can gain further essential nutrients through food, and not pills. : )

I take 3 supplements during the day to make sure that I'm in top shape. First, I take lithium to improve my vision which needs some work. Then I take herbal pills to boost my immune system. I gulp them dwopn with Vitamin C water that I get by mixing a little packet with a glass of water. -Dmitriy

I wonder if You C1000 would have any good impact on my health. But I take it often, because back then when I got a serious cough and flu, I recovered quickly after taking it. Do you know any drinks called Pocari Sweat? That is somekind of mineral drinks and when I just get fatigue, usually this drink would also help in restoring my energy.

I come from a long line of vitamin takers in my family and so is my husband. Been taking vitamins regularly since I was old enough to swallow them. Am still taking vitamins regularly everyday.

I SHOULD take more vitamins as I FORGET to take them.. but I always make sure my kids take it! I should take care of myself better than I do! Maybe if I took them properly I wouldn't have the cold that I do now.. maybe!

sometimes i take vitamins or mineral supplements in special calcium, but not regulary. when i was pregnant i took supplements especial for pregnancy

i USED TO take supplements on a daily basis... now.. i dont make it a ritual anymore.. not for me.. but i make sure my children do... you see.. i am a working mom - so, i dont get to prepare my children's meal all the time... and when they go to school and eat the cafeteria, etc.. i am sure how healthy is the food they choose to eat.. and even if i cook.. i am not really certain that i manage to keep all the nutrients in the food for them to consume.. .. i make them take supplements so that they 'have enough of everything' to keep them healthy, and well..

Yes I regularly take it because I have to maintain my healty body. Because my body is my only asset in my work. If Im gonna become sick then I have no salary.
