I have a domain name hosted somewhere else and instead of moving it to google, I just want to redirect the url to go to my blog. Is that even possible? I know the hosting has the DNS, but what would I change to redirect it so when someone clicks on my link, it will go to blogger's site instead of where it is right now. I am not all that familiar with this, so if you do know, please tell me in english. lol Thanks so much for any help ~icy~

there is a way... you have to go sign in at the company that holds your hosting. and input the address... I know you can;... just don't really know exactly how! LOL

Would this be it? I have never did this before. Forward Your Domain Name Want to point your domain to an existing web site? If visitors attempt to go to your domain, forwarding automatically diverts them to another address (URL) that you specify. This is on yahoo small business. Thanks

well usually if you go to your company that hosts your domain name... after you sign in there should be a spot to put a refer to spot.... so when they type in your domain name it will go to the site you have input there... so you basically would put your blog address in the refer spot! who is your domain?

Check this site out: http://www.webconfs.com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php The PHP code is probably the best one for you to try out first.

You could create that type of file and upload the file onto your webserver. So for PHP, you would create a PHP file and up load that to the webserver (whatever file you currently upload to I believe).

If is very simple . For example if you are using blogger the you can direct your address to your custom based domain by going to Settings Publishing Custom domain and then follow the instructions
