Ex FBI Agent Claims Sonny Bono Was Clubbed To Death

I thought Sonny Bono died in skiing accident like everything else, but an ex FBI agent who is now a private investigator claims he was assassinated, apparently because: "top officials linked to an international drug and weapons ring feared the singer-turned-politician was about to expose their crimes - so they had him killed on the slopes." A shocking discovery indeed apparently the investigator demanding he be exhumed and a proper murder investigation is started. I'm not his biggest fan it's true but if he was murdered and it's gone un-investigated this long it's sad and something should definitely be done, looks like it's going to be too. Wow! This is really interesting and I can't believe it hasn't made the news here in the U.S. I sure hope they catch the murderers who did it if it's true. Annie

yikes! if this is true,it certainly took them long enough. it's an awful risk sometimes being in public office.

Yes that is sad if it turns out he was actually murdered and it's only just coming to light now. I had forgotten he was a politician, I always think of him as a singer. I wasn't a fan either but it's a shame if it's true.

Yes he says in the article there was something funny about the investigation at the time too, I hope it gets resolved as he was apparently a really nice guy, I've never heard anything bad about him anyway.

US Globe tabloid This says it all for me. This is one of those tabloids like the Star and Inquirer Just garbage. I don't think i would put too much stock in it. Why would the government want to cover this up. I think it is just another conspiracy like the JFK one.

Well, that's interesting for sure. I will be watching for the results if there is an exhumation. It always seemed odd that he would run into a tree and be killed, but those freak accidents do happen I guess. I remember thinking what the heck when it hit the news. What I am wondering is how this investigator feels safe himself revealing all this at this point? If that happened to Sonny Bono, what is to stop this same type of thing happening to him now?
