Hippies in my eyes ,they wear strange clothes fringes all side around, those usuall hearcuts. They don't like live the normal life that most people are living ,they are rebels in the society, they try to live differently as they wish. "hippie" emerged in the 60's last century. One of my online friends told me, when he was a hippie, wearing his beads and Indian headband, marching for peace in Vietnam. He thinks every generation wants to change the world, who can blame them! So what's nowadays hippie look like?Do they ignore pretty outfits in the stores that would fit them well and show off the nice figure, but dress like a hippie out of the 60's? Seriously, tell me about hippies in your countries.

I think the term 'hippies' may be an exaggerated, outdated term in regards to modern day life. I agree with your assessment of a typical hippie back in the 60's (I was just a little girl back then) but from what I can recall that sounds about right. I think by today's standards someone who is 'goth' or punk rock, might be considered a modern day hippie. Not sure. But the clothes, the hair, the accessories (earrings) and body painting all tend to make a statement about who a person is. Also their tastes in music and art often go along with that certain life style choice. Just what I think, anyways.
