Heavy rains and flood.

Last monday, heavy rain comes due to a low pressure area developed in the southern part of the Philippines. It has cause my city flooded, in my place the flood reaches to 4 feet in height, I got worried to much on that day, it was very disturbing, for it happens during our dinner time, the water rushed in fast so we wait till the water goes down. My kids got hungry and I too. Way back 20 tyrs. my place does'nt experienced being flooded, but I think it is due to the developtment of subdivisions on the mountain sides, it has cut the trees to allow huge area for constructing roads and houses. In your place, are you often visited by thesame disturbances, I mean, being flooded?
