which is best game on PS2?

I think the best game is GTA: San Andreas. Followed by Gran Turismo series, Need for Speed series, and the Ratchet and Clank series.

Id say it is definitely Resident Evil 4 i would play that game from finish till end without a memory card. Thats how good it is in my opinion.

GTA San Andreas and God of War series Tomb Raider is my favourite for PC as well as ps2, though San Andreas on PC too. These two rule the ps2 rite now. Next editions of these two series are also gonna be huge as we can hear from the hype, GTA IV and GOD OF WAR 3 are shaping up to be the face of PS3 as well. So that itself shows how huge scope these two series provide for the gamers as well as the gamemakers. I also like the Resident Evil series, haven't played Gran Turismo and given that many like it so i'll have to play it as well.

hands down, i have to say that my favorite ps2 game is final fantasy x. but i think that my husband would have to say god of war 2.

I don't buy games for the ps2 anymore as I am allways on/buying for the xbox 360 so I can't comment on the new releases. However my favourite game on sony ps2 is Gran Tourismo 4. I also like the gta series and most football/soccer games.
