Looking for good history books

The Mystery of History is a great series. There are 6 editions all together, but I believe only two, maybe three are published so far. I don't have the book right here with me, so I can't tell you the author. But this a great book. Its more like a spring board to start some more in depth research on your own. But she gives a quick overview of events and people in chronological order, and even throws in stuff not found in the Bible, the world history things, so you can get a good feel of what was going on when. It's written for kids, but I'm loving it completely!! And there's a list of suggested reading material in the back, with titles and authors. I got it a timberdoodle.com
