Okay I need help with Mylot

I started some time ago, and have not done much with it? I can not for the life of me figure out how to get rid of the green man. I uploaded a picture, it went into my photos area instead of replacing my green man. How do you write a blog here on mylot? Thanks in advance for your assistance
