What kind of bread maker is worth buying?

I am looking to buy a new bread maker because the one my hubby and I have broke! I only used it a couple times until the other day I turned it on heard the motor going and then I smelled burning plastic. What a waste of ingredients! So now I would love to buy a new one and one that will last a long time for many uses. Do you have a breadmaker and if so what kind is it and do you find it's worth the money?
