Dangerous toys???

Have you ever had any toys for your children that were dangerous?
the reason i ask is i have just been in the toy box to get a few toys out for the kids to play with and whilst i was rummaging around in there something stabed me and made my hand bleed, i found the culprit and it is a toy supposedly suitable for an 18 month old!
i dread to think what would have happened if my children had been in there!
do you think toys are safe nowadays???

Oh ive had a couple that ive cut myself on including a childs beaker!!!! The shop got my temper on that one.
I give the children things I think are ok for them Becca has toys for 3&4 year olds because of Lauren and I cant hide all Laurens toys beccas learnt to play safely with them but to a certain extent some toys are kept out of her reach if they are dangerous.
Guess it is up to us to keep them safe but you cant watch them every second so toys need to be as safe as possible and no some of them arent!

the stoopid thing was meant for a 18 month old!!!!
and it cut me, was furious lol

there are toys that is suited to kids, to their age..it's our responsibility as a parent to make sure that the toys were giving to our children is safe and theres no harm for them..little children has no fault, it's our responsibility..we have to be careful..
