Smelt it once... His scent made an impression Yet it followed me everywhere His scent made me feel his presence It was as if he were touching my skin ---

Um...is this a poem or part of a story? What was the reason for posting it?

It's a pseudo-poem. Have you associated a person or someone or something to a certain scent, and you just wonder why that certain scent follows you. :)

haha! you're being funny! annyways, based on my standards what i have written does not look like a poem... thus, for the pseudo-poem label. :)

A scent can leave an impression on ones life for sure. It could be Good while many continue to be Bad as well. It just depends on what type of scent you could be referring to here. Wish you could have shared a little more on what you are referring too.

Yo tryx, are you talking about the scent of Jesus? I think He smells like either roses or something floral or citrus-floral. I smelt it once too, in deep worship. The scent was like that of the perfume/oil they use on rosary beads from Rome.. Though I'm Born-Again Christian and we do not believe in worshiping Mary but just respecting her, His scent was like that.. :)

I am familiar with the roasry beads scent. :) I also can't get enough of it, each time I held my aunt's rosary I can't stop but sniff it until my nose gets immune with the smell. :)

I remember the way my boyfriend smells, and I love it. He once asked me what I will always remember about him and I told him I will always remember the way he smelled. Not so much like a man, not so sexy or rugged, but so innocent and babyish. Sort of like newly-laundered clothes mixed with some of his sweat. Mmmm. So natural, so good. It's one of the things I love about him best. :)
