When do you do housecleaning?

Well, I do a little every day. I can't do a lot and what I can't do, hubby does on the weekend.

Well I try to do some cleaning every now and then throughout the week, so we won't have too much to tend to on the weekend, when we're trying to relax ourselves. But regardless we usually pick a day either Saturday or Sunday to do the rest of the cleaning. It just depends on which day that we have no plans what so ever to do anything. I think it's usually on Sunday though. We do it early and lay to rest for the rest of the day. It's just usually makes me tired after cleaning no matter how little the job may have been.

I do my big cleaning on Mondays. I also do alot of cleaning through out the week. And after work, and in the mornings, and in the middle of the night and.........

I try to devote a little time each day to straightening up. Certain things have to be done everyday regardless, like taking out trash, dishes, cleaning floors, etc.. When I was younger I used to like to turn the music on and just go on a cleaning spree. But, that was when cleaning felt optional. Now that I have kids, cleaning is something that I have to do and it makes it all the more difficult to motivate myself. So, I don't really do the long cleaning sessions. I just put aside time each day to only clean. No matter what I do, it never seems like it's enough. Some days I feel like I'm cleaning the same thing over and over again... my kids messes.

We do a little bit of both here. I almost always do a bit here and there throughout the week, but then we still need the "marathon" on the weekend. It would be nice if someone other than me actually picked up after themselves, lol.

I like to clean the house in the morning to relax the rest of my day

I like to do my general housecleaning on every Monday. This is because I will not do anything on Sunday. It is my rest day. Usually I am the only one who does the cleaning. So, I can choose to any days but I prefer Monday.

Through out the week on workdays I generally tidy up behind myself...do dishes, clean up after cooking, put dirty laundry in the hamper, make beds tidy up things ive been doing. On the weekends i have a marathon day and wash floors, do laundry, change beds, clean the bathroom. I find it alot easier to tidy up behindmyself but not have to worry about the "big" jobs when i get home after 10 or 11 hours away.

We each do a half hour of cleaning a day so that we can spend time together on the weekends doing something fun. Plus, if we do not clean just a little all week and it starts to pile up, I get really stressed out. However, my husband says he gets "stressed" when I remind him that he hasn't cleaned for his half hour of the day:)
