Crimes in your area?

What types of crimes are happening in your area?
I live in a small town where not much happens. Recently (in the past 2 months) we've had 6 bomb threats at our school (6 days in a row), a teenage girl left her child for dead and buried it when she realized it was dead, a couple of robberies at the local convenience stores.
I'd like to hear about the crimes in your area. You don't necessarily have to list where you are, just the crimes.

I live in Baltimore and crime here is pretty bad. We average something like 250 murders a year. In the past 2 days, there were 2 different kids at two different schools who were almost killed by classmates. Someone shot at a police officer, and he is still in critical condition at shock trauma. And the guy who shot the officer was shot several times, and is still in shock trauma as well. There is always something going on here.

i dnt think any crimes r happening rite now in my area...well not that i kno of any ways
