That sounds like a FreeCycle list. I belong to my local one as well. To find groups at yahoogroups go to homepage at www.yahoogroups.com In the Find a Yahoo Group Search link fill in name you are looking for. For specific group like "FreebiesUnlimited" or to see what is there add freebies or free stuff and see what comes up. Happy surfing!

im in a yahoo group that is a free thing for my area, and people getting rid of things post it on there and someone comes and picks it up. its pretty cool, how do you search for other yahoo groups like that?

yes i have that one, i got my first freebee in the mail, it was some VCF its a birth control with spermicide in it. My fiance wont use it though b/c hes to scared it wont work
