IS there a way to make eyelashes grow? Or is there something to use to actually thicken them beside glob so much mascarra on them that they appear thick? Is there a way to condition them to at least keep them soft and not dry? I have not heard/seen any product that offers this. I know age has something to do with it and I used to have really long and thick eyelashes, but over the hill at 50 things start going south! But will all the female beauty enhances out there, I have not heard or seen on single thing that address taking care of eyelashes other than the brand of mascarra being promoted. I use Maybelline or Cover Girl mascarra (which ever is BOGO free at the time I run out) So...got any ideas anyone? Only thing I have heard as a help is vasoline

Maybe a Lash fortifier. Laura Gellar makes one that is good or Loreal. They have made mine stop falling out and appear a little thicker.

My problem is not as much wanting them longer, they're quite long and full, but they are straight which doesn't do any good LOL I know that there are those eyelash curler things in the market but the little rubber things and I have one but the little rubber things go so fast. ANyway, regarding longer eyelashes, I am not sure what actually works. My mom used to say castor oil was great, so maybe you can give than a try.

My eyelashes are tretty thick but not as long as I want it to be.. I heard that applying castor oil in your eyelashes helps it to become thicker and fuller.. and also longer.. you might want to give it a try since castor oil is a staple in anyone's medicine cabinet.. =)

It is? I wasn't aware it was so usable. I always did have long and full lashes - my best beauty feature! But at 50 they are calling it quits on me! I will check into the castor oil. I already do the vasoline and it keeps them from drying out alot...I also have an eye problem where I have to used prescription eye drops and that dries them out ALOT. So I try to vasoline them at night and then wash it off in am and a light coat under the mascarra. I don't think as many are falling out, but what is left is sing'in the blues!

before, I do have a thin and not not so long lashes..when I started putting Petroleum jelly on it, after a week my lashes became thick and long. I do put Petroleum jelly overnight and it gives a good effect on my lashes..try that also.

That's what I've been doing, and the only thing I see is they just aren't as dry if I use the vasoline. At least I get that! Just can't get them to grow.

Try tradeing in your regular black mascara (assuming that you use mascara) for a condtioning clear mascara. I find that if I wear black mascara everyday, after about a week I will notice that I am loseing alot more eyelashes per day than usual. Clear mascara is not as hard on your lashes as the regular black stuff.

Will look into that. Hadnt heard about it. I only wear - yes black! - mascara only a few times a week - if I know I will be home, I don't put it on. But, I'll give it a try!

hi take a few dros of coconut oil and mix it with castor oil..heat this for 10-20 seconds ... apply this around your eye lashes.. leave it for over night ... take this treatment for atleast one month..this is the best way to keep your lashes long and healthy...
