The Limit for being Absent From MyLot is 3 months

then the earnings are confiscated and all the effort of posting discussions and responses has been lost as well. So it is wise to come back before, and a least post one discussion before the deadline comes. Or maybe make sure if you are leaving MyLot, that you reach the limit for payout before going. Have YOU been absent for more than 3 months?

What??? Are you mad? How could anybody stay out of this place for three months? I sure couldn't... I'd miss all my special friends far too much. Thanks for the heads up though... I didn't know that, but am unlikely to be absent that long anyway. I have a referral who probably is close to that though, if not over, so perhaps I'd better give them a holler! Brightest Blessings, my dear friend. x

I am so glad to be of assistance so that a wake up call can be sent to your friend and keep your friend informed of an impending situation that could arise during the absense.

It might be over the time limit. I'll look in his profile first, but thanks for the heads up anyway. This is something I didn't really know about, as I'm on here a lot of my waking hours, as you know.

With MyLot updating and adding more to the rules and guidelines it is an easy trap to fall into unless one of the members points the new rule ot to safeguard our earnings.

At one point I was but, that was before they implemented that rule. I don't know why people get in such a huff about this. If they read the terms they would see this bit of information.

I suppose we all have that way with us When we purchase an electrical item we do not read the instructions first but just dive in to get the item working, then go to the instructions to find out how to switch it on in the first place because it would not work.

Huh, I did not know that. I do not think I have been away for longer than 3 months, maybe like one month but WOW, do they just cut you out? or do they just bring your earnings down to zero??
@deeeky (3667)

They do not cut you off but Yes, the earnings are cut back to zero.

Thanks for sharing that vauleable information, friend. That is one piece of info that I did not know and I will remember it forever thanks to you. It's easy to be away from mylot due to life circumstances, and all that hard work will go down the drain. But, if you look at it, anyone who's away from mylot for three whole months probably don't care too much anyways.

Im amazed at how many inactive mylotters there are, I think that if they have been inactive for more than 3 months, there account should be deleted!! I agree that there earnings are confiscated and it is a waste of posting then!! Thanks for the info x

Where did you get that idea Deeky? I have a referral whom I signed up about a year ago. I just remembered her a couple of weeks ago and tried to sign in using her name and the earnings is still there though it had never changed since the last time she logged on which is almost a year now.

Must be a very trusting person if you can log in to her account! It is explained in the first response if you care to look!

I see. I'm embarrassed now. Thank you for pointing it out. Now, I understand it better. The earnings could still appear but it is already unqualified for payment. That's sad. By the way, she is my best friend and I was the one who signed her up that is why I knew her password. Well, she was dictating her information and password and I just typed it for her, that's why.

I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing that information. At the end of last year I wasn't on as often as I normally am due to my Mom's failing health and she had a couple of surgury's. When I was at the hospital though they had a computer that the families of the people in the hospital could use. So I would come on for a short period of time and than get back to Mom. So the most I have been completely away from mylot is a couple of months and missed it while I was gone.

I actually seen someone come back after an absence of over three months. She did not know about the inactivity clause. So, she ended up losing some money; I don't remember how much. I make a point of logging in and doing something on all my paying websites at least once a month. All paying websites seem to have an inactivity clause hid in their user agreement somewhere.

I have noticed that more frquently when browsing some of the websites. With the World Wide Web increasing at such a fast rate the have to make use of thier precious server space to have quality rather than quantity members.

That's ok. The rule are in the terms section. Here is the extract:- Payment. myLot pays users monthly (on or around the 15th of the month) with minimum account balance of $10 US. myLot carries foward all unpaid and qualified earnings from previous months. All unpaid earnings become unqaulified when account has no activity in the past 3 months.

Oh i have no idea, i didnt noticed that when i was away for 3 months. Maybe because i didn't have left any balance on my account. I remember i had only .03 on my account left but when i log in im not sure if that's after 3 months but what i noticed is the amount is still there. Anyways Thanks a lot deeeky for this great information. From now on i better watch out on that thing since i am nearly on my minimum. Cheers! have a nice day.

I don't think I've been absent from myLot for three HOURS yet. I'm here every day, and never far from the computer unless I'm out running errands or sleeping. I've had a few days where I've not posted to any other discussions but did take the time to answer the members that responded to my discussions. I can't see that I'll be leaving myLot long enough to have them cancel my account.
