bellaofchaos yes I went from red to blue to red to blue to red thenin the past one day went fromyellow to that nasty white 7and I do not know why. who hatesme so much that they would delibertely keep minusing me like that. I have disrespected noone nor flammed anyone so why?I too feel hurt and frustrated as I keep staring at the lousy 7.

Another discussion on stars, but in your case the damage isn't as bad. You've worked hard Bella and you got your nine... you feel upset and its understandaable, but imagine how I feel. I've worked very hard here. I've not had a 10 or 9. Rarely is it thanked, appreciated, acknowledged or even SEEN. I say visit my profile for best responses, discussions and other responses... I'd bet the farm no one seriously does it. Many think I deserve what's happened... but they completely ignore or discount all the hard work and help I've given. Now I leave samples of responses to show people what I do. I am sorry that it happened to you bella, especially when you try to steer clear of any controversial issue or discussion. The only reason that I can think of is probably your being friends with someone whom someone else doesn't like. It doesn't make abusive rating right though. Some people do not appear to have adult mentality and so this behavior. You are 'relatively' lucky among your friends, though, as they have faced the brunt and dropped by over or around 10 points. I think, and I can be wrong, that this problem is going to subside soon. I would like to think that whoever is/are doing it must be getting tired by now especially when all their probable targets, that I could think of last week when this problem erupted, are already hit by now, unless of course they have nothing at all to do with their lives other than to amuse themselves over petty things. Even if they don't stop, it won't matter for me personally, yes take my rating down to 0, LOL! I would hope for you and others though, that your star rise soon and fast.

take a look at my star and you tell me if ive ever had it happen. i expect to be a 1 by the end of next week at this rate lol no clue why.. and dont really care very much. have given ya a plus here tho.. and do with yer other discussions and comments. maybe thatll help

nah..it doesn't happened to me but in some point of time..it comes into my mind that there's is unfairness in that star thingy co'z you know some have posted that short but they earned almost the top stats but some also has posted the many but just earned the low nor average stats in their reputation here...i wonder who did the rating..and what's their basis in rating ???....haiz..so many questions i dont know who can answer...??!!

When I was reading this post. It reminds me of mine too. I always have 70/100 and it doesn't really bother me if it's lower than the others or higher. So I checked. It actually went up to 80/100. Wow.. Nice. Whatever it's worth, thanks anyway. This star rating thing doesn't really matter to me. I don't know, as long as I'm discussing rightfully towards other discussion. I'm trying to resolve my unresolved responses. I'm also trying to reply to all mylotters who took time answering my posts. And that's it. I'm happy doing just that without too much questioning whatver mylot is doing with my star because mylot is good to me ever since. hehehe..

My rating goes up and down. Normally my star is blue but it's been a red and briefly a yellow. I didn't even notice it was different until someone pointed it out to me so I don't know how long it was like that and I just hadn't realised. To be honest I didn't care one bit lol. People have their own ways of approaching rating others, some people never negatively rate, others do it if they don't agree with the poster, others do it because they don't like the poster, I've even seen people say they do it if they think posts are too long! I have no doubt there will be people who just sit and neg everything they see because that's just how they are. There are all sorts of reasons. If I were you I honestly wouldn't waste mental energy trying to work out why, and I definitely wouldn't be hurt, upset or frustrated about it. I mean is it really that important? If it affected your earnings in some way then I could see why people get upset by it but I don't think it does. Just carry on doing what you're doing and forget about ratings. You can't please everyone.

Mine hasn't so far but I wouldn't be one bit surprised if it does because you're the third person I've heard this has happened to and within the last few days too. I wonder what is going on here? Don't worry about it anyways, it's just a darn star.

It isn't even an issue for me. People retaliate through those when they don't have anything better to do. I wouldn't let it get you down- we all still love ya!

Yes it has happened to me, in the last few days it happened. I was on a ten blue and all around me peoples stars were being attacked and quite harshly too, so I knew it would only be a matter of time before it also happened to me. It did it happened over night, I went to bed a ten and got up to find I was a 7!! I did not mind, I never really paid that much attention to it anyway!!

i don't pay any attention to the star rating. i think (for me personally anyway and this is just my opinion) it is more important to be honest in my discussions and responses even if people don't like or agree with what i have to say. i think people are entitled to their opinions and feelings on subjects and if you only expect positive responses to your discussions, then maybe you shouldn't post them in the first place...(this is might get me a lower rating, but it will be fine with me...at least my thoughts are honest!)

It hasn't happened to me but I have read a lot of discussions on it lately. Most people think that there's a gang of folks going around and rating people with a minus just to mess with them or because they've upset them with one of their responses.

Being a newbie I was very hurt to see mine so low - I have been friendly, given long replies and started a few discussions. I didn't think the rating would bother me too much, but I have a few friends whom I actually don't want to refer now because I'm not sure this is a nice place as it is made out to be. I have said nothing negative in my posts, so I'm very confused.

I don't understand what is going on here I saw 2 of my Long time Friends have gone from blue to red I just give up

I advise you not to be too particular star ratings. I don't get bothered whether mine changes. Just enjoy myLot, enjoy meeting people and learning new things. You'd be surprised, your star will continue to shine at its brightest. Keep it up!!

hi, dont think you should get so hassled to start with. i think it could be just some conversation you had recently where someone else rating you in the negeative. thats what i would feel. i am sure you will get your rating back. if you have been doing a good job just stick to it. sure it will be ok

It would definitely make sad any one to see a drop in mylot earnings or reputation points or number of posts Of all these,the reputation system has been greatly abused.Well,I have seen cases where people with 9 star goto 7 star in a week! So,my advise is that not to worry about it.Now a days,the mylot reputation points is not the accurate way of judging anyone. There is too much fluctuation in it for no apparent reason.
