What do you want to be when you "Grow Up"?

We've all been asked this question as kids and some of us still don't know the answer or are just working towards some goal. My question is what is your dream career?(notice I said 'career' and not 'job') What is it that you love doing and you make a living out of it. My career of choice is to become a licensed Cosmetologist(hair, skin, makeup, nails). Fortunatly for me, I'm already pursuing that goal, and by this time next year I should have my license. Then, I can work my way up to becoming the best. What is your dream career? Is it something that you want to do for the rest of your life? Are you actively pursuing it, or is it only just a dream?

that is a great question. and it is ok not to know what you want to be when you grow up. i am 36 and i am still working on that question. right now i want to be a teacher and student of life. i want to run a successful online business that i am currently putting together. those are my dreams today, who know what they will be tomorrow.

Gosh, at 47 you think I would know what I want to be when I grow up.. Having been a few things already including an LPN, i do believe now if I had it to do all over again I would opt for IT support and computer repair. But I may change my mind when I am 80 so I guess I will have to think about it some more.

I'm sure I'll change my mind in my career choices also, at least the experiance is there. It's never too late to change you mind, you'll just be an 80 year old woman who loves her job.
