Creating the CON folder...It is POSSIBLE.. follow these

Here's the way
1. Goto Run from Start menu
2. Enter cmd and press the Retun key
3. Now, go to C:\
4. Type md con\ and press Return
5. Check for the folder in the drive using My Computer
...voila!! ur folder is created!!!

i create the folder named "con" but why we don't create it normally. i made a folder but please tell me how i delete this folder.

To delete it,
In the command prompt, when u reach the folder where u created the con folder, type the following
rd con\
and ur folder would be gone

the reason why u cant make a con folder directly is that CON is a reseved word in DOS.
Likewise, u cant make folders named con1, con2, con3, lpt1, lpt2...

i delete this folder using rd con\ and thanku for this knowledge.

The method i've written works fine buddy..
I have Windows XP Home SP2..
