How much time do you really spend by yourself...all alone with your thoughts?

Until recently although I spent most of my time alone I always had the tv or stereo on or spent most of my time on my pc but the past month I have spent more time alone with just my thoughts than ever before. I think I've always been afraid to just sit and think because of my bi polar and never knowing what my mind will come up with. Now that my ex has been here and I go outside to smoke I especially enjoy the early morning hours on my porch enjoying the sunrise and have found that I can actually control my thoughts to a point and am comfortable with them. There are so many things in my life that I work so hard at trying not to think about yet I've been able to do it now and feel like I've come a long way in working through some of them.
Do you spend much time by yourself just thinking about things with no distractions? Is it something that is hard for you to do or does it come easy to you?

Some of the time I do. Some days I won't turn on the tv and just sit there drinking a hot cup of coffee and thinking. If the day is warm I often sit on our porch and just stare at everything around me. I find a lot of peace within myself when I do that. It's very refreshing.

Umm...in the shower. Yeah, that is about it. My husband and daughter are both clingy.
I have terrible anxiety so I try not to spend too much time alone with my thoughts anyway. This is why I spend the time when everyone is in bed on the Xbox or the computer until I can't keep my eyes open any longer.

i dont really count how much time i have spent all to myself. but i know i get that at least 30 minutes to an hour.. this is where i get to think about my plans, my life.. everything i need to do in my life and when it comes to that point.. i am always in a hurry to get things started.
