Personally I had to find out from friends and school... we never talked about it in our family which I think it was wrong... Do you think kids now are well educated?

I think you are doing the right thing by keeping them informed and educated... Even though books and the internet have it all, its different when the advice and the information is coming from their parents

i was 13 and i was told by my bestfriends mom, whom was hot as hell. personaly i dont think most kids wana here it from their parents now days. with all the ways people can get info theres really no need for parents to tell kids, there going to learn it form school or friends, or the internet.

I guess school would be a reliable source, but when it comes to kids learning by themselves from the internet, I think if you don't have someone explaining it you might think of more complicated things... and if your parents don't talk about it then you might get the impression that it is not a good thing...

Ready for this? My mother explained it all to me when I was 6!! The same age as my daughter! And I wouldn't even think of telling her about this .. just yet. There is still time. But maybe in a year or 2 I can introduce the topic to her. Gosh, just so not ready for this kind of thing.

I see what you mean... but I still can't see why they make it such a big deal... I guess its because I don't have any children of my own. and probably their brain has to be quite mature in order to grasp the concept of a baby coming out of a woman...
